Lucia Lupu is a Moldovan film director and photographer whose work delves into themes of memory, cultural heritage, and collective identity. A graduate of the National Academy of Arts in Chișinău, she made her directorial debut with the short fiction film “Paparuda”. She later continued her exploration of documentary storytelling with “Lost in Time”, a film examining Moldova’s film archival institutions, and “A Small Country with a Big Heart”, shot during the Ukrainian refugee crisis in Moldova.
